I am a person with strong morals who desires to do the right thing to the entire humanity. My life challenges and experience since childhood have given me an opportunity to develop a good understanding of the person I am. I believe that all people deserve just treatment and equal opportunities irrespective of their background. In addition, I value hard work, honest, commitment and kindness which are sometimes so hard to be achieved in the current society. This essay may not be in a position to comprehensively define who I am because as I grow there is the unfolding of my character due to dynamic nature of life. However, it will capture in details the overall perception of my life and the relations that I have with other people in the society.I am the second born in a family of two siblings and my parents. The environment of my upbringing was a typical of strict parents who did not leave anything to chance. My siblings and I were to live strictly by what they said and any deviation could earn us a thorough disciplinary action. I was supposed to be home very early and avoid any collusion with my colleagues at school and the neighborhood. My father always warned me that he should never hear that I ever quarreled with any person. He would advice me settle any disagreements in a consultative and if need be I inform the authorities. On the other hand, my mother taught me the values of being honest and trustworthy. She could tell me that I should never lie to anybody in order to get what I wanted because dishonest never goes unpunished. Although my parents were such strict they were willing to support my education and my values in a loving manner. They could advice me to work very hard in school so that in future I could secure a good job to support my own family. Thus my upbringing became the solid foundation of who I am today in terms of my character and my relations with the members of the society.Therefore I credit my upbringing to the person I am currently. The ability to maintain honest throughout my life has made me to be trustworthy among all my associates and friends. Even in my several classrooms, my teachers could recognize my hard work and truth which made me to be appointed students leader in some classes. My leadership position further put me in a position of service whereby I was a required that I handle all my colleagues in a fair and equal manner. The position made me to be patient on each student when raising a matter of concern and I could take it up and handle in a just manner that could leave all parties satisfied. These experiences strengthened my childhood values further and now I am convicted that the only way to succeed in life is playing hard work, honest, commitment and kindness to all humanity. Furthermore, I recently attended a seminar on ethics which was hosted by our local area leaders and the theme was the contribution of good ethics to business success. I learnt that there is a direct relationship between business success and good morals.

My future desire is to keep the good values that I have developed since childhood and through experiences so as to be successful. My dream is to be honest and trustworthy professional executive who will give quality services to my employer and the general society. Moreover, I would like to be a mentor in order to pass my qualities to the next generation and add value to the society's good morals. The fact is that maintaining good morals is hard and it requires a lot of effort which I am willing to sacrifice anything to achieve. The patients and determination that I have will definitely enable me to achieve my desire of living in harmony with the entire humanity throughout my life.

In conclusion, I do not regret my good moral standing. I appreciate my strict and loving parents who contributed to the person I am today. When I look back I remember the hard decisions that I made to remain honest and they have come a long way in improving my personality. I do not say that life does not have challenges that may make individuals to throw away good morals but rather believe that if anyone has the determination not to be overcome then it is possible. Therefore I am an individual who believes that honest is the best policy.
