I got the chance to enroll as a second major Economics as a USC student because I was not allowed to transfer to the Marshall School of Business. I settled in the USC with the hope that I will be allowed to do internal transfer from the second major Economics to USC in the Marshal School of Business. I have enrolled for three business related classes this semester in my current USC namely: Marketing, Statistics, and Economics to make sure that I am at par with other students in the Marshall School of Business. I decided to pay fee for the extra classes to enhance my chances of securing the transfer. This sacrifice is self-motivated, realistic, and shows my commitment to transfer to the new school.
I am a team player with loads of networking abilities. I have nurtured these skills by getting involved in the Ascend (Pan-Asia Leaders Student Chapter (Ascend) and Korean Business Students Organization (KBSO) student forums. I have learnt to interact with peers from various cultural backgrounds and I believe I will settle in my new school with ease.
I am mentally and psychologically prepared to start my new course, because this has been my dream; one day, the institution will understand my situation and approve my application. I am attracted by the school’s passion to create astute professional through the school programs. In addition, the school liaises with top organizations to assist students get a real job opportunity to explore their academic skills. I am a self-driven and I will put to action the gained knowledge and skills. I believe that the institution will facilitate my transfer and help me realize my dream of becoming a business professional. I am looking forward to a fruitful interaction with the Marshall School of Business fraternity.
