Nietzsche criticizing morality is a complex and long issue. He rejected morality and he fundamentally denied the core of the moral theories. He wrote books that were highly critical of morality, science, religion and contemporary culture employing irony and metaphors to stress his pont. The styels that he employed and his and radical criticizing of value objectivity and the value of truth have been controversial and raised a lot of debates on his personality. He had controversial debates to Christians such as death of God, the recurrence eternally and the power of willing. Core to his belief was the philosophy if the affirmation of life.  This was to involve a true questioning of all doctrines which have an effect of draining our energy thinking about them.

Nietzsche talked of origins in a number of ways, and used various German words in doing this. At a time he attacked the notion of origin being referred as starting point, where in essence which then moves to produce what is present now. This is the same as the origin that is there in the bible  of man where all men originated from Adam and Eve an how they were thrown away from the garden of Eden and thus the begin of human suffering. The original story works out to present human beings as being perfect and godlike as was in the Garden of Eden. In the biblical story, in the Garden of Eden on Adam and Eve and their eventual fall from the grace of God, it is from here that we find the Christian reasoning of the human essence of with the essence being founded after the original sin. Therefore even Adam and Eve can be able to define the origin of sin and the start of morality as an event that was created during a certain time, and it is an edict which emanated from a perfect God. Therefore he argued that morality is seen to have an origin yet it does not have a genealogy. In page thirteen of the book Nietzsche, pointed that this morality is God who is the source of it. Therefore Nietzsche on learning that God was the source of mortality, he decided not to search for how mortality originated. He began to see mortality as a process but not as an event.

Even though he was very much against morality as is taught in Christianity, Nietzsche also recognized that human beings cannot in totality abandon the use of moral standard, as this is dangerous, and it is a modern sickness that he termed as "nihilism." Nietzsche expressed hope and said that, even though had dedicated a lot of his time on understanding morality,  even if we were to understand a better the genealogy of morals, it cannot be of any help as it will not make us to do away with morality. The knowledge on morality will make us to cheerfully look at it with better understanding.

Johannes and Nietzsche ((2003) were different philosophers in every way, while Johannes asserts of how religion has a higher part in our life than ethic, and with that he believed that the universe was the highest than anything else. Nietzsche believed in the opposite as he did not believe in ethics or morality and he believed religion has no place in the lives of people. Johannes believed in faith, which he categorized cannot be seen or expressed orally while Nietzsche believed in the absence of faith and believe in what is seen. While Johannes took religion very seriously to a point of wishing to be alienated from other people who exist, Nietzsche was always criticizing religion and believed it worked in deceiving the weak as being good and castigating the strong and the noble as being weak.
