The domestic terrorism in America is a situation where American citizens attack fellow Americans with an intention to intimidate or coerce fellow Americans to a particular ideology or policy and they employ mass destruction, kidnapping of others or assassinations, within America. There are several groups known to have engaged themselves in terrorism domestically, this groups include the KU Klux Klan, The Order and The Liberation Party.

Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is a white supremacist group which believes in total segregation of all races and total destruction of all aspects of communism, there are about 5,000 members in America. The group also had anti communist, anti semitic and anti catholic agenda thus their perceived threat to their foals were the Catholics, Jews, African Americans and also all the immigrants in America. Therefore the tactics they used to spread their ideology was the use of threats, arson, murder and violence.

The other terrorist group in America is The Order or Silent Brotherhood, it was active in the United States in the years 1983 and 1984. The group is a white nationalist revolutionary group formed by Robert J. Mathews. The group relied on William Pierces, novel called The Turner Diaries which also guided the crimes they committed as they resembled the acts in the book. They involved themselves in assassinations e.g. the Assassination of Alan Berg a Jewish Radio presenter who in his talk show talked of the white supremacist groups. They also involved themselves in robberies, intimidation, bombings like they planted a bomb in a synagogue and also counterfeiting money. The group reduced their activities with the arrest of Mathew in 1984 and arrest of a lot of its members.

The Black Liberation Army or the (BLA) was a black military organization and was operational from 1970 to 1981. The organization believed in armed struggle to achieve its goal of liberating the black people in America to self determination. The group carried out a number of bombings, prison breaks and robberies.

Domestic terrorism is dangerous to the national fabric and should always be dismantled as they cause senseless destruction of property and loss of human life.
