The below chart demonstrates the roadmap and millstone for our new strategy. The expected date for the start of the implementation process is March 2011 and ADGAS SAP team will be able to test it by January 5, 2011. There has been a proposal on the final go%u2010live date to be on 10 April 2012, which is due for the 2nd quarter of financial year.
Value drivers-EVA
It is believed that the financial perspective of the proposed strategy will add value to ADGAS and will increase the EVA. The implementation of the new strategy will be financed from an existing budget allocations, and the expenditure will be covered within 2012 since we will only add SAP transaction to an existing system. It is expected that the EVA will be increased due to the following:
• Positive operational decision
• No negative effect on investment
• No significant financing

Risk Management
• Lack of attention and follow up.It is considered that there will be a possibility oflack of attention and follow up during implementation process, Go-Live date and system test. Therefore, an implementation plan will be created, followed up and stick to Go-Live date. Besides, the new SAP transaction system will be tested and employees trained prior to Go-Live to ensure that SAP users are adequately trained and able to use it successfully.
• Improper communication. Through experiences the consequences of improper communication during SAP system implementation have been identified. Therefore, there will be the need for a communication plan in order to know who needs to be communicated to, what to communicate, and what are the communication methods that need to be used.
• Poor change management. One of the lesson learned in previous project is the significant impacts of poor change management. Thus, the change will be planned competently, well-organized, adequately resourced, monitored, controlled, and evaluated. The employees will also be motivated and highlighted about the values of the system and benefits for them by using diverse change management tools and methods.
