A calling as opposed to profession is manifested when one is still developing into adulthood. It starts from a voice or thought that keeps pushing at the back of the mind telling you that this and nothing else is important in your life. This is how my interest in health begun. I have the confidence that this is what I have to do since other related fields were already unsatisfying. I feel pharmacy is my call and passion since through my life I have had an interest in things to do with drugs. I believe that my interest in the pharmacy program including my compassion and interpersonal skills, gives me an advantage in becoming a perfect pharmacist. My purpose to become a pharmacist has been strengthened over the course of time and during my studies. Furthermore, the more I kept learning about this profession, the better I understood myself and my will power.

After making my mind to do pharmacy, I researched the field and found one school of pharmacy that interested me. The school was Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The school is one of the leading institute for medicine and the largest comprehensive health unit. The range of skills required to become a pharmacist has also challenged me into putting more efforts in my studies. You have to be good in all subjects at the lower education levels. My interest in English and math over the past years has also fulfilled my desire in this field. I have never had a doubt that I want to work in the field of health science. This strengthened my studies in post secondary education since I have taken my science courses with utmost interest so as to be prepared to pursue science-related courses without difficulties.

The college benefits students by offering them active scholarly research, strong community partnership and professional services to help them have excellent medical experience. The best opportunity for student arises from the fact that the institution enjoys a working affiliation with most of the world’s finest health institutions. Besides having unique and challenging medical facilities, I chose the institution because it is one of the best and closest medical schools in New Jersey. It is also the only institute in eastern side with an accelerated degree program. The Worcester campus is located next to the Worcester medical center and is in close propinquity to most of the hospitals. I am therefore willing to connect with people to meet their needs. I am therefore willing to pursue further my passion and help people in the process.
