Consequences of both world wars were almost predicable. The political principle of militarism forced by swift industrialization, entangling unions and imperium, caused frequent conflicts among the most powerful european countries. At that time the powers wanted to fight but did not have a reason. The assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand of Australia on June 28th 1914 in Sarajevo city gave that reason. France, Russia and England hastily declared war with Ottoman Empire, Australia and Germany.

Second World II war followed the first one. Versailles Treaty finished World War 1, chastised and disgraced Germany. Later it facilitated the rise of Nazis who disobeyed the Treaty and started a new world war.

The approach of the two world wars was evident from the technological changes. World War 1 introduced new, numerous military technologies. The Germans terrorized the Atlantic, surpassed British naval power and the introduced a submarine as a new naval warfare. To oppose the approach of trenches, French used tanks. Also, another highly developed gun machines were widespread. Airplanes were earlier investigateded and later became arms. The use of chemicals for military purpose enriched the variety of new war weapons.

It was fatal for millions of soldiers. The trench warfare method brought even more deaths than five years prior to the war. After the first day, only the English lost 25, 000 soldiers in the battle of the Somme. The increase of technological development between the world wars was unbelievable because it happened very quickly. Submarine tanks enlarged, became more powerful than and as quick as naval ships. The zenith was in the introduction of aircraft-carrier industry reached its peak. During the World War1, it was the most harmful arms in the world after the dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima on 6th August 1945.

World War II was more destructive than World War I. More than forty one million people died. It is impossible to imagine so many victims of any current wars or military conflicts. Also, during World War I, European colonies were not engaged in battles because almost all military operations took place in Europe . During World War II the fightings covered every continent, even such a neutral state as Switzerland suffered attacks.

There are also dissimilarities between both wars especially what concerns their long-standing effects. The first war gave rise to fascists in Italy, Spain and Germany, Soviet Union also strongly developed. The world’s main military and political were Europe controlled the world.

After World War II, so many changes were evident. For instance, the old powers collapsed and anew divided. The united States and Soviet Union focused on forming new world order. Other states associated with them. The global chain of rule lasted for the following next ninety years and ended in the decline of the Soviet Union.

The Great Depression happened first with the Wall Street Crash in October 1929 and quickly reaches the whole world. This decade is marked by poverty, high rates of unemployment, deflation, low profits and lost opportunities for a growing economy and personal improvements. The causes remain uncertain and controversial. The effects were unexpected and caused a world-wide loss of confidence in economic prospects. The possible reasons may be increased consumer debts, lack of new industries illegal markets that accepted outstanding loans from banks and investors.
