John Ford’s Fort Apache. Custom John Ford’s Fort Apache Essay Writing Service || John Ford’s Fort Apache Essay samples, help

John Ford is a Western film director and producer who wrote, directed and produced the film Fort Apache in the year 1948. The film defines the sympathetic and authentic view in which the Native American was involved in the American civil war. This film defines the leadership strategies, relationships, responsibilities and objectives of the US military inside and outside the country. The American civil war afforded the emigrant Irish an opportunity to show their patriotism as well as their ability in military and civilian life. It also taught them how to take advantage of available opportunities in the Western expansion that occurred in the years immediately after the end of the war. This theme forms the entire information and quality of the film, Fort Apache in its classic interpretations of the American civil war. After the war ended, the captain who was highly respected and well qualified was to replace the outgoing commander, but to his or her surprise someone else who was only a general landed the position. Despite his lack of experience and arrogance, the new commander should oversee the different racial teams and work together in protecting the country.

The film defines the level of racism that invokes hatred and fights among citizens of America, children in schools and even in residential neighborhoods. Racism is common among American citizens because it consists of different racial communities from all around the world. Various people come together to look for jobs and by that they build a community that requires proper relationships to succeed in maintaining peace regardless of the many races. The film elaborates how individuals and leaders can change racist intolerance into fair and supportive members of the society. It also explains the importance of working together to build the society so that everyone profits from the growth of the community. This is evident in the film when the management appoints an unexpected candidate as the new commander. It means that all who oppose his leadership must work together with him in building the country. For this reason, racists have to overcome their hatred for other races that do not belong to their own race in order to pursue growth and development of the community.

The American civil war also portrays the film’s community efforts and achievements despite the military corrupt intentions of torturing children and women. Women had to come together to demolish roots of abuse and violence from their men. They combined their efforts in fighting for their rights and proving to the society that they are significant people who can develop and benefit the society in different ways. Both the value of women and the community spirit during and after the American civil war reflect major themes in the film, which in turn reflect the values and significance of unity among people. It also signified the roots, beliefs and cultures of different people, which gave them knowledge of other races around them. For example, Americans learnt to understand the Indian cultures where as the Indians learnt to understand the American culture. This was through the social functions before, during and after the civil war that people interacted effectively with one another. In addition to this, various races had religious beliefs and practices that were to create a spiritual environment indicating mourning period, which the film also expounds on widely.

Apart from women and leaders working together, there were other religious, social and historical practices carried out during and after the civil war. These practices were to bring peace and acceptance of the loss of loved ones during the war. People danced, prayed and sang hymns. This signified the celebration of achieving peace and fellowship as well as mourning lost lives. Through these, many individuals were able to develop a deeper connection with other cultures, thereby recognizing areas that would cause potential chaos and separating themselves from such possibilities. The film portrays all elements of the American civil war in every aspect of maintaining a prosperous and stable country. The social bonding aspect created a clear crystal relationship among various races in both myths and reality forms. The film points out according to the experiences of the civil war, a humor that introduces populist element, which raises the importance of ordinary people and explains the essence of having different characters in the society by enabling various characters different parts in the film.

While all other aspects are important in acquiring knowledge of the war and the film, the author tries to communicate another element of low comedy, which entertains viewers and witnesses by portraying the selfless fights of the military to bring out the true core of humanity. They expressed this through heartfelt emotions and oblique wisdom. Ford also stated that it was important to discover humor in the midst of tragedy because tragic is ridiculous and never wholly tragic. This way, people learn to gather courage despite the scary and traumatizing experiences they encounter. The importance of the civil war is that it helped the country make a name for itself specifically by fighting its way through the challenging situations during the war. It gained a chance of advancement and gaining publicity in the world map. For this reason, America now contains people from all over the world and practices all cultures to appreciate all cultures and promote peace across the world.

The American civil war not only brought people together,  but it also encouraged hard work among people who acknowledge that anything is possible through the leadership of the new commander, who was only a general before his new position. It also gave many individuals the chance to show their ability to manage civilian life as well as their patriotism. In addition to this, the war trained individuals to equal themselves as others regardless of their prominent positions in the society. This way, ordinary people have the freedom to fight for their rights and encourage only ways that create opportunities of growth for both individuals and the community. Just like the period of the war, the film gives a meaningful kind of leadership with humility and loyalty, where one is capable of giving up everything for his men. For this reason, there are better-dedicated men who work to be heroes for their country.

In conclusion, the American civil war holds many lessons for the world history. As compared to the film, freedom and loyalty are the two major themes that cover a bigger percentage of content in the film. While all other aspects are important in acquiring knowledge of the war and the film, the social bonding aspect created a clear crystal relationship among various races in both myths and reality forms. The importance of the civil war is that it helped the country make a name for itself specifically by fighting its way through the challenging situations during the war. It gained a chance of advancement and gaining publicity in the world map. On the other hand, the importance of the film is that it helped give viewers knowledge of the details of the civil war.
